Saint Francis Working Group 1 month, 2 weeks agoI had the time of the meeting wrong! The correct information for today’s meeting at PSU’s library is Wednesday, April 4, 7:30 PM. The plan is to meet in the lobby where you first walk in, then obtain a private conference room in the library.

Saint Francis Working Group 1 month, 2 weeks agoi think that having that space has been very beneficial to us. however i think we should consider moving out gracefully. i think we should have the 3 large meetings each week outside. I feel that we will continue to function with those.

The occupyportlandcalendar.org calendar is up-to- date with current room schedule.
Once you have a confirmed event you can place it on the events/meetings Pdxga.org site through your member page.

Whoever answered the question about using the building after 10pm was mistaken. I don’t think it was ever a consideration for us to use the space all night. St Francis clears the entire property every night and allows folks back on site in the morning. They are not a shelter, it’s a community space for the homeless during the day, providing…[Read more]

Just out of curiosity, have you talked to St. Francis personally about this?
I haven’t talked to them personally about 24 hour use but I have spoken with them about using the kitchen after hours (which was a definite no) Next time you are in the office you might look at the St Francis guidelines posted by the front door. I can’t recall if they list their after hours policy or not.
